The Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WPHOF) is currently seeking nominations from players and poker fans for this year’s inductees.

“This pivotal year offers an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable achievements of women in poker and to celebrate those who have made significant contributions to the game,” the WPHOF noted in announcing the nomination process.

“As we embark on this selection journey, we look forward to recognizing trailblazers and inspiring figures who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and influence in the poker community.”

Spotlighting the Game’s Best Female Players

The hall recognizes some of the best women in the game and inductees have includedWomen in Poker Hall of Fame Jennifer Harman, Victoria Coren Mitchell, Barbara Enright, Vanessa Selbst, Maria Ho, Susie Isaacs, Linda Johnson, JJ Liu, Jennifer Tilly, and others.

Nominations are open through Sept. 23 and an induction ceremony will be held in Las Vegas in the PokerGO Studio. Here’s a look at a few names that might be considered.

  • Kristen Foxen – This longtime high-stakes pro has four World Series of Poker bracelets and also finished 13th in this year’s WSOP Main Event for $600,000. She sits second on the women’s all-time live poker tournament winnings list with more than $8.3 million.
  • Annette Obrestad – Online poker star who also sits sixth on the women’s all-time money list with $3.9 million in live tournament winnings.
  • Liv Boeree – Former PokerStars ambassador with $3.9 million in live tournament winnings, including winning the European Poker Tour Sanremo main event in 2010 for $1.7 million.
  • Loni (Harwood) Hui – Longtime poker pro with two WSOP bracelets, five WSOP Circuit bracelets, and $3.9 million in live tournament winnings.
  • Kara Scott – Longtime poker player, commentator, and former 888poker ambassador.
